Ihe brides carried boinpiets of carna
tions. A short program of songs and a
reading ensued, then to the music of the
wedding march and led bv the two bride
the tiO relatives and intimate friends
were ushered to the dining hall where a
fine two-course banquet hail been pre
pared by the local M. E. ladies' aid. A
closing song and the benediction and the
assembly repaired to the Elliott home
where an at home was held from 3 to ft.
I'ainty refreshments were here giveu
friends who called to congratulate the
fortunate pioneers. The children pre
sented the parents n purse of gold.
Eour generations of the Elliott fam
ily were there. A number of pictures
were taken of the many assembled rela
tives which will serve to make the day
till the more lasting.
The guests were besides the bridal
pair: The Elliott children, Mr. and Mrs.
Ward Oram. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Elliott,
all of llarrisburg: Mrs. Joe Lister, Mr.
