in the rock cjunrry near (Soldsou destroy
ed the crusiirr plant ana damaged a
truck of tlie contractors working on the
Low Pass road Wednesday, according to
a report reaching liere. The duinngu is
cstfmnted at nearly $10,000.
The bunkers were completely destroy
ed and the plant bndly wrecked. A heavy
truck standing underneath tlie bunkers
nt the time tlie blast exploded was badly
damaged. The n;w crusher near Goldson
has Just been completed and tho quarry
opened. About 1(H) yards, of gravel has
been spread on Uie road near the crush

TJic construction rew has been laid
of' until a new crusher can be secured
mid blinkers erected. It is expected that
the work ou the Ixiw'Pnss road will lie
held up about six weeks as the result
of the damages. 'The Kibby, and Curran
company have the contract for surfac
ing tlie new I,ow Pass grade completed
by the stale last yjr. The crusher site
is alHiut n half mile off the east end of
the Low Pass road.
