A place in England, July 10, (Mail)
British military authorities are convinced
that tho day of tho superman has ar
rived and that tho port he is to pluy in
ending the war and regenerating the
world cannot be overestimated.
A representative of Tho Associated
Press, who was permitted to visit a
great training school as the guest of the
foreign office obtained an insight to the
remarkable change brought about in the
British viewpoint during the past thr'e
years.
The British not only are putting forth
all their energy in further perfecting their
fighting forces, but nro actually and ear
nestly devoting themselvei to the develop
ment of their youth in a manner cal
culated to fit them for any and all event
ualities which may nrisi in the years to
come. . Iflgig
If the Germans cherished the idea of
eliminating Britain as a world power,
Britain, it is said, far from being beaten,
now sees with a clearer vision than ever
before and is preparing to turn the scales
against her adversary' in such a way
as they may never again swing back.
New British Watchword
"Use your eye and your brain" is the
new British watchword which Is being
instilled into the British youth with all
the force at the command of his su
periors. "We arc training our men to believe in
themselves." said the general commanding
the school. "Each must not-only feel
thnt he is better equipped physically i jd
mentnllly than his antagonist, but he
must be able to demonstrate it. That
is the lesson we have lenrned from the
world war."

"I am happy in the invention of
double spectacles which, serving
for distant objects as well as for
near ones, make my eyes as useful
to me as they ever were."
So wrote Benjamin Franklin in one of
his letters. He it was who lirst conceived
tlie idea of taking a near-sighted lens nnd
a fftr-iihted lens, cutting each in half
and fitting them in a spectacle frame.
If Franklin could see the perfection of
hit idea in the KRYPTOK (pnmunctd
Crip-mk) Invisible Bifocal, he would bo
astonished. Instead of a lagged line sep
arating the two lenses, KRYPTOK is
one solid crystal-clear lens which cannot
possibly be detected from single vision

See "The Hyatt Roller" the 1909
Buick that holds the world's long dist

traveling coast to coast and back again.
It is in town today equipped with its

factory installed them 'way back in 1909.
After making' their record, over 261,800
miles, these bearings show a wear of
only five-thousandths of an inch not
enough to affect their efficiency at all.
Now, enroute across the continent,
they are still the same old Hyatt Quiet
Bearings, giving perfect, care-free service.
Yet their record, while remarkable, is
only typical of what you may expect
from Hyatt Bearings in your car.
