Building activity In Creswell this
summer will no doubt exceed esti-J
mates made on the same last
spring says the Chronicle. Every
one here realized that this place
would experience a building boom
during the present season, but per
haps no one expected It would reach
the proportions It will by the com
ing winter.
In the business section the two
concrete blocks erected by R. H
Parsons, the blacksmith shop and
the cannery will add to Creswell's
places of business.
In the residence district Creswell
Is making a phenomenal growth. In
the Bohrnstedt addition six modern
homes are being completed and
others are In the course of eon
structlon and sMll others contem
plated. In the Wilbur addition J.
It. Scott Is living in a fne new
home finished this spring, and J
H. S'reetcr Is finishing a handsome
two-story residence. Across the
street south of this addition are the
two homes erected by C. E. Pratt
and J. H. 01 more and to the west
of these Is the prettv home erected
by Mrs. S. J. Scott. Mrs. M. E. Buoy
has built a neat little cottage near
the Baptist church and two more
have been built Just east of the
plaining mill. In the north part of
town B. H. Walt. W. P. Cllne and
LeBlle Williams have erecteu jeat

Oeorge Townsend has built a nice
home. N. K. Steele and S. D. Reed
