of the northwest will gather at
Portland June 7, 8 and 9 for the
third annmiE contention of the
Northwest Music Teachers' associa
tion. Oregon, Washington, Idaho
and Montana are included In the or
ganization and the earning meeting
will he a gathering representing the
musical talent of the four states.
A banquet will he held the first
evening and will he marked hy ad
dresses and tcasts by prominent
musicians. The second and third
evenings will he devoted to concerts.
Morning sessions will be given
up to educational conferences, em
bracing vocal, instrumental, theory
and public school music . Well in
formed people on musical Btibjects
will present papers along these var
ious lines and a discusslun will fol
low each paper. Afternoon sessions
will bo varii'd with recitals.
