zie, to George W. Hug, who has been
visiting here this week from Eugene.'
Mr. Hug la the principal of the Eu
gene High school. The engagement
Is the culmination of a college ro-'
mance. Mr. Hug met Miss Mackenzie'
when she was a freshman at the Unl-,
verstiy of Oregon five years ago. At
that time he was In his junior yeari
and a prominent athlete. They are
both graduates of that Institution, he
