AN OPEN LETTER,
I wish to say to the peoplo who
have not had. the pleasure of meeting
me that 1 have come among you with
tho intention of staying, (and I am
a stayer from 'way back), and I like
Eugene so much better than any oth
er place on earth, that 1 have ac
quired a little property here and ex
pect to end my days in this busy
place. I will not be here today and
be gone next summer. Incidentally
1 may say that 1 am in tho piano
business. I will not advertise myself
as headquarters or hindquarters of
anything. I do not boast that I am
the oldest, largest, best, or most
honest dealer in town, hut I do say
that I sold the Chlckcring piano now"
being used at tho Tabernacle with
such satisfaction, and lot tlic public
judge I hose points. Some make tho
Maim that they can savo you $."0 to
$100 on a piano, but do they do It?
You just try me and see if 1 am not
tlere with tho goods. I havo Just
demonstrated to all who have bought
Trowbridge pianos in Eugene, that I
'have not only mado the claim, but
have actually sold a car load, lack
ing one, of tho tho genuine Simon
pure article, bran new and right
from the factory, and as good as they
turn out, at a saving to my custom
ers of $100 to $225. If I can do that
on one make of piano and furnish
exactly the samo kind that has boon
sold here, placed sldo by side and
compared, does lt seem unreasonable
that I can do so on the ot'liors?
My claim is that I can givo you
more piano value for your 'money
than anyone else In town. Como In
and I will tell you why. I havo Just
received from the factory, (this is
no josh, they were shipped January
27.) a full car load of the celebrated
Miller piano, the equal of painos
sold In Lane county for a much 'high
er price. My prices plainly marked
on all these pianos.
Yours for business,
