Levi Geer, principal owner of the
Loudon mineral springs, twelve miles
south of Cottage Grove, was in Eu
gene today on business! ' Ho was a
caller at the Guard office and sIiowihI
the force a sample of the salts that
are being manufactured from the
waters ot the springs. An evaporat
ing plant has been Installed at the
springs and the salts will be manu
factured on an extensive scale just
as soon as fjey have become suffi
ciently known to crealo a market for
