a stranger on a county bridge on
the river road between Eugene and
Junction Olty Inst Tuesday, but who

ceeded In his attempts at self-destruction.
Ho was found dead lu a
field late Saturday afternoon near

hanging, Lornti went to tho home of
his broihor. Tho next day he left
the house and (hat was tho last seen
of hint alive. Ills brother instituted
a search for h'm and found his body
In the Edwards stubble field about
a mile from the bridge where he
hung himself.
Coroner Gordon received word ol
the suicide Saturday evening and at
once drove to the scene. Ho held an
Inquest, empanellink the following;
Juror: Clarence Coon. Jamee Hayes,
M. J. Harper, F. T. Kirk, J. L. Hor
se! and Kalph Coon. They rendered
the following vordtct:
