Skinner's llutte for Park.
The matter of the annual tax levy
was discussed. Councilman Gilbert
suggested that in making the levy for
park purposes the Skinner's Butte
property, recently acquired by the
city, should be considered. The
thought that it was better to Im
prove the butte for a park, which is
accessible and close in, in preference
to spending all the funds on Hen
dricks' park, which is so far from
the centre of the city, was brought
