Debaters Chosen for the
Interstate Teams
Charles Sievers, the best cross
country runner in the college, and
one tf the best all around distance
men, has left the University and
will not take part In the track meets
during tho coming season. Sievers
lives noar Portland, and while he
entered college at the first of the
year, he has been obliged to stop on
account of the expense, which he
was not able to meet.

last Saturday. Earl Kllpatrlck and
Thomas R. Townsend, two of the

and generally considered as leaders,
