SPRINGFIELD
At the regular weekly meeting of
the board of governors of the Com
mercial club, the manager made, his
report In regard to the depot park.
Early last week General Manager
O'Brien, of the S. P. Company, re
turned the plana with a letter that
the company could not accept them.
At a conference held Friday in I'ort
laud, changes were made in the
plans to suit Mr. O'Mrlen. some ml-1
nor detail scut out and new plans
ordered from the landscape archl-'
tect. Other department heads of t ho
company were seen in reenrd to the j

that the company had contracted to j

This will mean that nearly a hun

plied with Eugene, literature In the
