good showing of flint corn and some
popcorn grown on land that was bro
ken up 53 years ago. All of this has
reached o high state of perfection.
The exhibits of the pupils in all
grades of the Cottage (J rove Bchools
Is very creditable. There ore maps,
compositions and papers on various
subjects, as well as specimens of pen
manship that nro far above the aver
age. One feature of this showing Is
that of the first graders, who have
submitted samples of their ability In
the paper rutting line. Imitating
flowers and fruits.
The Cottage Grove Manufacturing
Company has a fine booth In which
they have a fine showing of mission
furniture, such as tables, chairs, ped
estals, stands, doors and mantels.
The Oregon Mineral Water Com
pany also haa a fine showing of lta
celebrated brand of London mineral
water. This company makes lta
