WIIKX HER BACK ACHES.
A Woman Finds All Her Energy and
Ambition Slipping Away.
Eugene women know how the
aches and pnlns that come when the
kidneys fall make life a burden.
Backache, hip pains, headaches, diz
zy Bpells, distressing urinary troub
les, all tell of sick kidneys and warn
you of the stealthy approach of dia
betes, dropsy and Brlght'a disease.
Doan's Kidney Pills permanently

of It In a Eugene woman's words:
Mrs. L. E. Abbot, 4 84 Pearl street.
Eugene, Oregon, says; "Last winter
I was taken down with a bad spell

FOOTBALL RALLY
WILL BE HELD
TOMORROW NIGHT
Game Saturday Is the Most Im

in Eugene
The football game with the Uni
versity of Washington Saturday af
ternoon In Klncald Field will be the
greatest game at Eugene this year,
is well as the last. In honor of the
game, tomorrow night the students
will hold one of their big rallies on
Klncald Field. There will be
speeches, songs, marches and a bon
fire, under the direction of Yell
Leader Loosely.

such "demands were not put upon
enthusiasm by a defeat.
No hard bucking was done last
night, the players running through
the signals, and Dud Clarke called
the signals, and is likely to do so Sat
urday. While It Is not unusual to
have anyone but the quarter direct
the plays, as the candidates have had
little experience In college games,
if v.na honn thmiirht advisable to
try the plan of trusting to the older
backfield men.
The Oregon work will be lighter
the rest of the week from that of
the first part. The team seems to

Newton Is a very powerful, man, but

to fully know how to use his weight

Plnkham will probably be In the
play Saturday, after the long rest
from seve-.e work, owing to a bad
hurt. He plays with terrible vin

SALEM HOPS GO
AT EIGHT CENTS
George L. Rose, of Salem, yes
terday sold the remainder of his
hop crop, 903 bales, to Klaber,
Wolf Netter at 8 cents. This is
the largest single block of hops
to change hands in Oregon this year.
Eph M. Young, of Independence,
sold 190 bales to Ralph Williams
at 8V4 cents. Other purchases from
growers and transactions between
dealers brought the day's 'business
up to around 1500 bales. It was the
most active day In the Oregon market
since the middle of October. Ore-gonlan.

VOIT CAN'T CURB CONSTIPATION.
by taking purgatives, salts or other
drugs that act harshly or violently
upon the stomach or bowels.
Ask any doctor and he will tell you
that purgatives of any character dis
tend the bowels and weaken the elas
tic tissue.
To cure Constipation remove the
cause. The cause of constipation is
Indigestion. If your food digested
properly it would continue on from
the stomach through the bowels, and
would be eliminated without effort
and without regularity.
Mi-o-na tablets cure constipation
by curing your indigestion. It is not
a purgative. It is a stomach tonic and
more it tones up, strengthens, in
vigorates, refreshens and injects new
life into the worn out muscles of the
stomach, and in a short time makes
the stomach hardy enough to digest
anything you eat. It is a powerful yet
harmless stomach trouble and its re
sistless Influence on the stomach Is
astonishing.
Try Ml-o-na for Constipation. One
box will cure you of indigestion; two
boxes will relieve you of constipation,
and best of all, lli-o-na is such mi
economical remedy. A large box only
costs 50 cents, and then, If you are
not satisfied with results, Hull, the
druggist, will give you your money
back.
Mi-o-fla cures all stomach disor
ders whether acute or chronic, such
as dyspepsia, vomiting, over-indulgence
of the night before, sea or cut
sickness, stomach sickness of pros
pective mothers, etc.
Read this from the president of a
New York corporation:
"I have been a terrible sufferer
from dyspepsia for two years. The
most eminent physicians prescribed
for me with no effect. I have been
absolutely cured by your Mi-o-na tab
lets, ihe first one gave me a relief i
almost Incredible. Very gratefully i
yours. Herbert H. Taylor, 501 West1
