Allen Eaton, who established an
up-to-dalo bindery here more than a
yenr ago. lias met with so much en
couragement that he has Installed a
ruling machine and other equipment
for the production of better work.
Last summer he kept five employes
nt work on jobs of the most difficult
nature.
In addition to the new machinery.
Mr. Eaton has obtained the service
of Mr. Harry Piatt from Portland as
foreman of the shop. He was for five
years head finisher for Glnss & Prud
home ,the well-known blank book
makers of Portland. Some of the fln-

led out by Mr. Pratt while he was In
i Portland. He is an expert with the
1 ruling machine, and the print shops
; of Eugene, In co-operation with the
