has 300 electoral votes and a plurality of 150,000 in New York
also that Hughes wins by close to 45,000 plurality.

New York, Nov. 4. Indications are that tho following
votes will be cast in the electoral college for Taft: California,
10; Connecticut, 7; Delaware, 3; Idaho, 3; Illinois, 27; Indi
ana, ID; Iowa, 13; Kansas, 10; Maine, 0; Massachusetts, 16;
Michigan, 14; Minnesata, 11; New Hampshire, 4; New
Jersey, 12; New York, 39; North Dakota, 4 ; Ohio, 23 ; Oregon,
4; Pennsylvania, 34; Rhode Island, 4; South Dakota, 4; Utah,

CARRIES NEW YORK CITY
Taft may have a majority in New York City, tho first
time the big city has given its vote to a Republican president.
Taft will probably receive a greator plurality in New York
state than did Roosevelt four years ago.

WISCONSIN FOR TAFT
Associated Press bulletin, Milwaukee Meagre returns
from different points in Wisconsin indicate that Wisconsin is
safe for Taft and that Davison, Republican, for governor, is
running about even with Taft.
BRYAN CARRIES OWN PRECINCT
Lincoln Bryan carries his precinct, 100 to 52,
Omaha, complete Bryan, 10,732; Taft, 10,009,
65 precincts outside of Omaha and Douglas county give
Taft, 7099; Bryan, 7330.
TAFT CARRIES IOWA
Des Moines, Iowa 80 precincts in Iowa indicate Taft's
majority will be 78,000.
BIG TAFT MAJORITY.
Philadelphia, Nov, 4. Senator Penrose claims-a plural
ity of over 250,000 for Taft in Pennsylvania.

Hartford, Conn,, Nov. 4. The Republican state committee
claims the state by 40,000 majority for Taft. ; a.

ceived, but they indicate that Taft has carried the state by
about 20,000, and that Brady, Republican, for governor, and
the entire Republican ticket has been elected by a majority of

WASHINGTON BY 40,000
Seattle, Wash. ,Nov. 3. Washington state polls did not
close until 8 p. m., but indications are that Taft carries the
state by 40,000 plurality and entire state is safely Republican.
