Idaho will be represented this year
by well-known players who have
made wide reputations for themselves
last fall, says a Boise paper. Savide
and Armstrong will be found at the
.ends, while Stokesberry and Pauls,
two powerful men who played guards
last year, weighing nearly 200
pounds, will be switched to tackles.
Hays, of Boise, and "Panther' Smith,
of .Moscow, have a cinch upon the
guard positions. Cook, of Boise, and
Jewell, of Wallace, are working like
beavers to represent Idaho at cen
tre. In the back field we have that
fearless, peerless and powerful lead
er, Rodney Small at quarterback. He
is without a doubt the best quarter
the West has ever developed under
the new rules at that position. The
halves, "Chic" Johnson and Thorn
ton, ns well as Montgomery, the full
back, are nearly ten second men.
With this speed behind the line and
a line like a stone wall, Idaho cer
tainly looks like a winner upon paper.
