The Canipbell-Fellman electric
light plant was started up last night.
The plant furnishes light to all parts
of the Campbell-Fellman building
also to Julius Goldsmith's cigar
store. The plant is located in a
small building in the rear of the ci
gar store. It Is operated by a Fairbanks-Morse
gasollHe engine. The
dynamo has a capacity of 125 32
candle-power lights and is now fur
nishing juice to about 150 16-candlo
power lights. The plant works ad
mirably and the proprietors think
they will have no trouble with It.
They can furnish their lights much
cheaper than they can buy them from
the light company.

the circuit court against Alt Walker
to recover $104, alleged due for
lodging and boarding C. D. Thomas,
now deceased. The plaintiff alleges
that ho boarded and lodged Thomas

to February IS, 1907, at the Instance
of the defendant, at $5 per week.
It is alleged that only $70 has been
paid and a balance of $104 Is due,
together with interest from Feb
ruary 1 7, 1 907. Walton & Ness are
attorneys for the plaintiff.
