Corvallls, Oct. 16. At a rousing
boosters' meeting held- last night in
the Commercial Ciub rooms, plans
for raising a booster fund of $60110
were discussed, it was the largest
meeting of that nature ever held in
this town, jand will hav-0far-reach
ine results.
J. H. Hnrtog, of Eugene, was the
principal speaker of the evening, and
told of the great or being done
bv the citize'0 of EugiVe In the u-
bulldlnc of their continuity.
The need of a booster club to work
In conjunction with the Commercial
Club is keenly felt, and it is the de
termination of the loeal businessmen
to keep the ball rolling, now that it
Is sturted.
