ty is after local option law offend
ers. nine Indictments having been
returned by the grand jury. The
case of E. C. Rogers was dismissed
for lack of evidence. The. case of
Herman W. Pauling was up Satur
day. The Jury returned a verdict of
not guilty. Campbell Hros.' case Is
now up for trial. All the defendants
have employed W. H. Wilson, of The
Dalles, and Uowerman & miller and
D. R. Parker, of Condon. Others In
dieted are K. 10 11 bank, frank Kldd
and V. M. Snell. of Arlington.
