killed Patrick Maloney, overseer of
the grounds, and Millie l-'ollln. a
young Inmate of the asylum, and se
verely injured Miss Kohlnson, unotti
er Inmate.

an Inmate for eight years, was re
garded as harmless and for some time

ney. Today he suddenly became vio
lently Insane, ami grasping an Iron
bar crushed Maloney 'a skull. Then he
turned upon Miss I'olllu and crushed
her skull, and In his flight encoun
tered Miss Kohlnson, and tiled to
kill tier. Ills aim was bail and she

and a brokeu arm.
