FUNERAL OF MISS NEAL
FRIDAY FORENOON
Th funeral or Miss Una Neal, who
died In the Eugene hospital yester
day afternoon as a result of an op
eration for appendlcltlB, will be held
at the home of her grandfather. Rev.
William Bartle, at 171 East Twelfth
street, Friday forenoon at 10 o'clock,
with Interment in the Masonic
cemetery. Rev. D. H. Trimble will
conduct the services. Miss Xeal was
a Junior in the Eupene high school
and would have graduated next year.
She was popular among musical cir
cles and had a beautiful voice. She
was the only datiRhter of Mr. and
MrftH.- C. Neal of Marcola, besides
whom she leaves an only brother,
William. She was born at luka.
Pratt county, Kansas, July 26, 1890.

the polling places hereinafter named,
a special election will be held In and
for said City, whereat will be sub
mitted to the legal voters of said City
for approval or rejection, A BILL,
proposed by the Common Council of
the City of Eugene, for a law to
amend Sections 108 and 112 of the
Charter of the City of Eugene, being
Chapter 252, of the laws of the stnte
of Oregon for the year 1905, entitled,
"An act to re-incorporate the city of
Eugene, and repeal all acts and parts
of acts In conflict herewith," filed In
the offlre of the Secretary of State,
February IS, 1 905, as amended by
the people of the City of Eugene Ap
ril IS. 190S, and to repeal all acts
and parts of acts in conflict here

109 of the charter of the City of Eu

cut the vast timber resources, to keep
business going, so the merchants of
Eugene can get their freight on
