United States Senator?
Up in Washington an effort is being made to defeat a U. S. Senator for re-election, one of th
major charges against him being that he is non-progressive and never improved his home towr
by nailing two boards together or laying one brick on another.
NOW is the time for you to remove one obstacle to your successful candidacy by building
home for yourself or some homeless would-be renter.

Gentlemen: .
I have just returned rrom an eastern trip as far as ChlcsK
Ited Lake County on my return trip. I have never seen a faiw
productive valley than the Goose Lake Vallev. They are nis
crops of grain, grass, vegetables and fruit over there wi:ta:

aitaira and red top. It Is bringing him in lt per acre ik
which on the same basis would yield a man S160 per year W'l

I looked at wild lands amongst our lands In that valley, and
buy 200 acres, and the owner held it at 100 per acre. I sa

are finer than the average in the Willamette valley. You ihos :
stand that at the present time there Is no Irrigation worth m
the entire valley, nor anywhere' in that country .excepting i
