The contract for W. E. Zuber's
new brick, next to the Chrisman
block, was let today to R. Shelley, a
new contractor, just from Philadel
phia. The Interior of the building
will be 40x120 feet. The building
will have to be ready for occupation
by October 1, as it is rented to a
man by the name of Triplett for a
dry goods store, handling ladies'
goods as a specialty.
The contract price is about $5200.
The specifications call for a building
with foundations equal to supporting
a two-story structure, though the
present plan is to build only one
story. The object Is to be able to ex
tend it higher if so desired.

voted that the growers pick by weight
and that the price for picking be SO
