The street cars are now making
regular trips to Judkins' Point, as
far as the rails are laid. Many of the
citizens have ridden to the new end
of the line the past two evenings just
for the pleasure of the trip. The
cars stop a couple of hundred yard
west of the new trestle ncross the
Campbell-Walker hop yard.
Professor Straub, an instructor In
the U. of O. for many years, accom
panied hy Mrs. Straub, returned last
evening from Newport, where thev
spent three weeks in an enjoyable
manner. They have a fine cottage of
t.ieir own. and have been going to
the bay annually for ten or fifteen
