. MALARIA
Malaria is due to impurities in the Mood which destroy the rich,
healthful qualities of the circulation, and reduce it to a wean, watery fluid.
The Ixxiy is then deprived of its necessary nourishment and strength. anl is
unable to resist the countless disorders that assail it, and the general system
hutlers in consequence. The appetite fails, digestion is weakened, chills
and slight fever are frequent, while the suflerer loses energy and ambition.
Boils skin eruptions, and some times sores and ulcers follow when the
Mood becomes deeply polluted with the malarial germs. Both a tome
and blood purifier are needed to cure Malaria, anil S. .S. S. is best fitted for
this work It is the most perfect of all blood purifiers and at the same time
an invigorating, healthful tonic. S. S. S. goes down into the circulation,
and removes every trace of impurity or poison, and gives to the blood the
uealtb-tustaining qualities it needs. It cures Malaria thoroughly and per
manently because It removes from the blood the germs and poisons which
produce the disease, and while doing this tones up and strengthens every
part of the system. Hook with information about Malaria and any medical
advice furnished free to all who write.

KELSAY PROMISES GOOD
SUPPLY OF, WATER
The petition of B. S. Kelsay, of
Eugene, Or., for a water and gas
franchise at Mt. Scott, which Is up
for the consideration of the county
court, Is made In good faith, as Is ev
idenced by the fact that he has re
tained the well-known firm of Gron
dahl & Uilyeu, civil engineers, for
the technical work. Mr. Bilyeu says:
"Preliminary work has progressed
to such an extent that a pure and con
stant supply of wholesome water can
be given to the residents of this sec
tion at about the same cost that Is
paid by the residents of Portland.
Ample fire protection will be given
and the reduction In the Insurance
rates In itself would warrant the
granting of this franchise to Mr. Kel
say and his associates.
"When water Is filtered as this will
be, tho purity of it Is beyond ques
tion. The plant and Us equipment is
of the host, and should the franchise
be granted this entire district will
have Installed at the earliest possible
date a plant that will ba second to
none." Journal.
