Gallagher's home in Oakland, Cali
fornia.
says he will incriminate his brother
John, who, he says. 'xplo.led the
bomb as the result of a personal
quurrel with Gallagher.
Peter says he was at Heno at tho
time of the explosion, but when ho
heard of the attack ou Gallagher's
residence though: li was time to
leave. He says he went to various
places. Including San Krancisco,
where he met Detective Hums on tho
street, but was not revognized. and
then "bummed" his way east and
stood beside Hums in the police
court last week.

slightly Injured by the resulting explosion.

SERIOUS WRECK
OF TRAIN ON THE
NORTHERN PACIFIC
Glendlve, Mont., Aug. 11. The
Northern Pacific train No. t, the
North Coast Limited, had a disas
trous wreck twelve miles east of
Glendlve last night. Fireman A. II.
Matthews and an unknown tramp
were killed, and twenty or thirty
passengers Injured, one fatally. Kx
pri'ss Messenger Wilson Is expected
to die.
The train was running fifty miles
an hour and went through a burned
bridge, bill the prompt action of the
engineer in putting on the brakes
and reversing the engine prevented a
wreck of the entire train.
The engine, smoker and iniill cur
went Into the ditch.
