skill as a "bronco buster" and from
the stunts he put his horse through at
battalion drill Wednesday morning
he is pronounced an expert riding
master. Both the horse and the lieu
tenant were perspiring freely when
the exhibition was over, but he main
tains he was not "skared 'tall" and
Is ready to give riding lessons on his
return.

and Homer B. Angell of Portland,
were married Wednesday afternoon
of last week at 5 o'clock nt the resi

read the marriage service in the pres
ence of the close friends and relatives
of the bridal pair, and during the
xchango of vows Miss Hubbard, al
so of tnis city, sang "Annie Laurie."
In the parlor where the ceremony
was performed, a bridal bower of
white Jessamine and Testout roses
was arranged and bowls of flowers
were placed on the tables and man
tels throughout the house. The
bride was unattended and wore a
gown of white silk mtille, with trim
mings of Valenciennes lace. Her
Mowers were an arm boquet of white
carnations.
After the wedding a bridal supper
was served on the lawn of the Johns
residence, covers being laid for 24. A
large centerpiece of roses over pink
was the chosen ornament.
Mr. and Mrs. Angell left that eve
ning for Victoria, from there coming
to this city, where they will visit for
a few days before leaving on a six
week's trip through Montana and
Idaho. The bride wore a smart trav
eling costume of brown with hat and
gloves of the same shade.
Mr. and Mrs. Angel will live here,
where Mr, Angel Is practicing his
profession as a lawyer. Telegram.
