COUNTY IN JULY
Itr. J. W. Harris, county health of
ficer, has prepared his report for the
month of July. He reports sixteen
deaths during the month, of whom
ten were males and six females. The
causes of death were as follows:
Pneumonia. 3 apoplexy, i; senility.
4; enteritis, i; paralysis, 1; heart
disease, 2; cancer of the face, 1; ob
struction of the bowels, 1; cebral spi
nal menengilis, 2.
Of those who died seven were past
75 years, four were past SO, and one
was past 8s. One was only three days
old.

There were nineteen births during
the mouth eleven males and eight
females.
There were six cases of contagious
disease, as follows: Diphtheria, 2;

front of President Campbell's res

The elevator to hoist brick and

new I. O. O. F. block will be operated
by an electric motor instead of by
horsepower, as Is usually the case,

tioned the fact that a number of bus
iness firms were contemplating In
stalling electric light plants at their

Fellman Company, housefurnlshers,

be installed in one of the upstairs
rooms of their building and will be
operated by a water motor.
Another business man who oper
ates an engine all the time is said to
be contemplating installing a dynamo
at his place to furnish lights for
stores and residences in the entire
block in which his place of business
