workers, declared that an enormous
increase In wages would be received
by the union men In the making of a
new wage agreement next month.
The American company announced
an Increase of 20 per cent on single
strength glass, and 33 1-3 on double
strength glass, to go into effect at
once. Mr. Faulkner says this means
an increase of 40 per cent in wages

66 2-3 per cent for double streneth.
