A SIMPLE QCESTIOX.
Eugene People are Itcqintil To
Honestly Answer Thin.
Is not the word of a representative
citizen of Eugene more convincing
than the doubtful utterances of peo
ple living elsewhere in the Union?
Read this:
Charles Readle of 333 West Eighth
St., Eugene, Ore., says: "I am fully
as ready to recommend Doan's Kid
ney Pills today as I was in 1906 just
after using the remedy. As I said in
my testimony at that time I had suf
fered from kidney complaint nearly
always since the war. I never knew
when to expect an attack. A cold
would bring It on or any over-exertion.
On several occasions I was
helpless. The last severe attack I
had was about six months ago when
something like lumbago set In and
brought on a heavy bearing down
pain as if there was a weight over
each kidney. 1 was bent over and
could not straighten up to save me.
There was such a weakness in the ac
tion of the kidneys that I could not
control' the. secreMons, and it caused
me much' anno; aura. Having Used
several reinedles,' with little, if any
benefit, I finally began taking Doan's
Kidney Pills. The action of the kid
neys and bladder was soon corrected
and then the pains and aches disap
peared. I was benefitted in every
way and what I told in my former
testimony about the relief 1 obtained
is true in every resect. Three years
have now elapsed since I testified In
favor of Doan's Kidney Pills and I
have been continually free from kid
ney complaint. ' I consider them a
wonderful remedy and have recom
mended Doan's Kidney Pills again
and again."

JtEATKX HY .H'XCTIOX
In the game of ball played here on
Sunday the Junction City Blues de
feated the Eugene Crescents by the
remarkable score of 12 to 3. The
Eugene team didn't have a look-in
from start to finish. Nichols, for
Jirnctlon, was in fine form, striking
out fourteen men and not allowing a
safe hit, the three scores made by
Eugene being let In on errors. Pit
ney, the catcher for Junction, caught
a very good game, only one man
safely stealing second.
The boys will play the same team
here next Sunday. Admission, 25
