Four-Inch water pipe is being laid
on Olive street. In place of the 214
Inch main that was intended. Last
Monday night the Commercial Club
appointed a committee to interview
the council in regard to the matter,
the consensus of opinion of the mem
bers present being' that the street
should have an eight-Inch indepen
dent main before the pavement was
laid. However, the council at a meet
ing the same night ordered 4-inch
