BASEBALL GAME
TOMORROW AFTERNOON
The new baseball suits for the Eu
gene team have arrived and the team
will wear them In the game tomor
row afternoon at Recreation Park,
when they line up against the Co
burg sluggers. The suit is of silver
gray color with red stockings ad
belt with the inscription "C-F. Co."
in red letters on the breast. The suit
is one of the handsomest seen in Eu
gene, and makes a pretty showing for
the Campbell-Fellman Co's. team.
The game will be called at 2:30
p. m., and it is to be hoped that the
citizens of Eugene will patronize the
team is a good one and deserves the
national game this summer as the

The Koh-l-noor ice cream parlor
(Hull's) was formerly opened to the
public last night and large crowds,
thronged the place for several hours.
Hendershott's orchestra played sweet
music during the evening.
Miss Camille Leach, the University
librarian, is preparing a list of new
books that will run up Into several
hundreds, and that the University
will need before next fall. Larger
lists will be added later on.
Eleventh street pavement Is done
with the exception of a few finish
ing touches and repair, work. In case
further contracts should not be
awarded the Warren 'Company, their
plant here will be torn down and tak
en to Med ford.
Col. E. C. Hughes, Louis Aya, Sr.,
and W. Small, left this morning with
a boat in their wagon for a. point 40
miles up the Willamette river. In
tending to come down the river in
the boat and fish. They expect to
reach home Monday evening.
Norbert Aya and Louis Aya, jr.,
returned Thursday evening at 9
o'clock from a fishing trip up the
Willamette. They started down the
river from a point four miles above
Hyland's ferry Tuesday at 6:30 a! m.
and caught 360 (?) fine trout.

methods, and supervision and high

from June 2S to August 17. Among

down from the University, caught fire
from n hot box. The flames were
noticed first by those on he street
