colved a message from Sheriff Shutt
at Heppner Informing him thr.t Fred
Craig and Harvey (SI) Jones, who
are wanted here on the charge of
contributing to the delinquency of
Addle Watts, a minor, a ward of the
Juvenll" 'nurt of this city.
It will hi remembered that a num
ber of ynun:c mon, Craig and Jones

Harry Graham went down" to arrest
them, hut It was learned that they
had gone over "to Vancouver, Wash.,
the same day. They were hoard of
again In Portland, and later learned
that they had sturted for Eastern Or
egon. Woolwlne's whereabouts are
as yet unknown.
MEDICAL SCHOOL HOLDS
GRADUATING EXERCISES
President P. L. Campbell went to
Portland this morning to attend the
graduating exercises of. the medical
department of the University ot Ore
gon In Portland. The exact number
of the class Is not known, but It Is
said to bo about thirty.
The diplomas which the young doc-
tors receive Is not equivalent to a
state examination, that tost being ta
kun later.
