The engagement of the Sullivan

ny at the Eugene theatre tonight will
be an event long to be remembered
j by vaudeville, patrons of this city.
I 'The entire performance exactly and
In Its entirety as played at the Grand
j theatre, Portland, last -week will be
presented. The hill consists of six
I all-star acts, embracing every feature
that constitutes vaudeville. Hallen
and Fuller offer a comedy sketch by
I Geo. M. Cohan, entitled "Election
Iet8." beo Cooper and company
I present the dramatic playlet, "The
! Price of Power": Naomi Ethardo Is
a handsome lady equilibrist who of
fers many startling features. The
two Hoses In a dainty musical offer
lug aro ludles who thoroughly under
stand the art of music. Connors and
Aldort are blackface comedians and
dancers supreme. Wesson, Walters
and Wesson offer a mulcal comedy
playlet entitled "A Trip to Washing
ton, D. C." The Portland papers

WH AT ABOl T A COOK STOVE?
Now that summer time nnd "dog
days" are Just ahead, everybody who
"summers" at home is considering
how to simplify things und get the
most comfort out of an uncomfortable
situation.
We Interview tho Ice man; order
thin chthes; but more than likely
forget the one most important Item In
the whole hot-weather scheme some
means of doing I he family cooking
without the Insufferable heat of a
hot fire In the kitchen.
Every one with experience knows
how tiresome it Is to stay In a stuffy
room to prepare a meal, U-J alone
the doing of a big baking. But ev
ery one does not know how easy It Is
to change a hot kitchen Into a cool
one. nnd do better cooking - at - the
same time. Just add to your list of
summer conveniences a new Perfec
tion Wick Blue Flame Oil Cook Stove
and you've dona alt that any uno can
to lessen tiot weather discomfort.
Wouldn't It he a fine thing ot a
summer morning to step Into the
kitchen, put on the kettle, broil the
sttMik, bake tho muffins, filter the
coTfeo and give the breakfast call In
one-fourth tho time you'd take to do
It on a coal stove?
And wouldn't It be fine to be as
cool when tho breakfast was prepared
as when yon first entered the kitch
en? People Who have tried It say the
New Perfection Oil Stove actually
does everything In the line of rooking
and domestic service without over-
hoatlng.the room or the worker.
I'ndoulitedly the reason Is to be
round In the blue flnme princple on
which the stove works.
A cylindrical chimney concentrate
the heat at the stove top, and In this
way prevents surface radiation as InJ
a coal or wood stove.
It Ib easy lo see that this lessens
very much the matter of personalolls-
comfort in summer hoikeeplng.
iV do not forget the New Pcrfec -
Hon Oil Stove in your summe' plnns
and you will have
