years by members of the llooth-Kelly
Company, and later by tho Hunter
organization, has never yet been of
fered to the public, and has remained
practically a Beakd book to tho pco
plo at large, although it has for a
quarter of a century been known as a
region of vast development posslbil-
llles. Since tho last years active
campaign of surveying by Harrlman
railroad engineers through Central
and Southern Oregon, tho graift has
come into notice more than ever bo-
fore. It will be taped by the Ore
gon Eastern Hallway to bo built by
the Southern Pacific, and the Ore
gon Short Lino.
