day, when Judge Wallace, of the
criminal court, admitted there was
no evidence to convict the 2000 ac-:

were about to come to trial. In thei

grant a change of venue to Judge

court recently declared could try the
rases, for the reason that there was
crazy this year, and will (juve an evidence to convict, even If the

stitute the local team Sunday, but the
following old men will probably ap
pear In uniform, besides some new
material: Hussell, Moshberger, Har
per, ilobbs, Smith, Johnsoif and

2. An Initiative bill filed In the
office of tha city recorder January 4,
1908, to amend the city charter by
adding a now section, 135, providing
for the prohibition of burials with
in the city limits.
3. Proposition to purchase for the
sum of $140,000 the water plant and
property of the Willamette Valley
Company according to the offer of
said company filed In the office of the
city recorder March 21st, 1908.
