Blair atreet addition property Is

CATARRH 18 (TUABLF,.
Snccrajifiil Kxiierliiientliig in .Minting
and Curing Tills Iilseusc.
Catarrh Is an entirely unnecessnr'
disease and should not be tolerate!
tor a alngle day now that Hyomci is
so generally known and has made so
many cures In Eugene and other
towns.
Modern srlonce has disproved the
old theory that caturrh was a blood
disease. It Is a germ trouble, and the
remedy Is Hyomel, which medicates
the air you breathe, killing all ca
tarrhal germs.
As there Is life and health In the
air of the pine forests, filled with fra
grant and healing balsams, so there
Is lite and health In breathing Hyo
mel. So sure Is this prescription to cure
even the worst rases of catarrh, that
Mr. Hull sells it under an absolute
guarantee to refund the money It It
does not do all that Is clulmed for
It.
OVER 3000 VOTERS
HAVE REGISTERED
INDICATIONS POINT TO GREATER
TOTAL REGISTRATION' THAN'
TWO YEARS AGO
Over 3000 voters have now regis
tered for the coming primaries and
"lection, and In view of the fact that
nearly a' month still remains for reg
istration, there is every Indication
that the total this time will be great
er than It was two years ago.
Under the law registration must
close fourteen days before the prima
ries are held, April 17. and so they
will be closed on the evening of
April 1. Registration will be resum
ed after the primaries.
Candidates deBlrlng to run for
county offices must file their nomina
tion petitions by April 1, while those
running for state and district offices
are required to have their petitions
with the secretary of state 20 days
before the primaries are held.
SOME TROUBLE ABOUT
WHO PAYS THE TAXES
A great deal of trouble Is caused,
according to Sheriff Fisk, over the
matter of tax payments on properly
which one person has Just purchased
from another. In realty transiers 11
Is said that numerous muddles arise
over the matter of who Bhould niy
the taxes. On property bought with
in a few months of tax paying tlm
the trouble and misunderstanding or
the law becomes more noticeable. At
the present time taxes are being col
-lected on last year'a assessment and
of course In the transfer of property
the taxes are included and the new
purchaser must pay them or see that
they are paid. When this la over
looked trouble surely follow, a. a
rule, and the buyer thinks the for
mer owner should pay the taxes and
the former owner is of the opposite
opinion. It customarily ends by the
new owner paying. By attending to
the tax paying part of It before the
transfer Is made useless trouble
might be avoided.
