PIANO BUSINESS
For the benefit of thos'e who do not
know or realize what we are doing,
permit us to say thai we have decided
to concentrate our retail piano busi
ness in 1'ortland, which Is our head
quarters for Oregon, and do a whole
sale business only in the smaller cit
ies. This explains why we are going
out of business here. We will sub
let our warerooms to S. E. Stevens
and L. (). Hulln, who have successful
ly represented us In this territory
during the last year and whose ser
vices we have retained during the
closing out sale.
Messrs. Stevens and Hulln have or
dered a new and complote stock of pi
anos and organs from the factories
and will arrange to launch In busi
ness for themselves as soon as we va
cate the premises.
Every Instrument now In stock, In
cluding all new pianos, pianolas, play
er pianos and organs, will be sold
at their actual factory cost plus a
small amount to cover freight charge.
Wo prefer to sell them as above rath
er than to go to the expense of box
ing and shipping them to Portland.
If every one could realize the sit
uation as it Is, nothing would be left
for sale at the end of this week. Ev
ery piano offered Is definitely and ab
solutely guaranteed. In other words
should the Instrument prove unsatis
factory we will replace it with a new
one free of charge.
Store open day and evening until
