Johns, of Creswell, gave a grand
Christmas dinner and oyster supper
to her children, their wives and hus-
. bands, her grandchildren anil their
husbands and wives, Mr. and Mrs.
J. E. Ingrabam, of Saginaw, their
daughters and husbands, and Mr. and
Mrs. William H. Bainbridge and fam
ily and several other guests partook
of the good things. After dinner a
goodly number of presents were giv
en. Some were, useful as well as or
namental and some were quite valua
ble. After supper we had recitations
and singing until the time came for
the Cottage Grove local, and Mr. and
Mrs. J. E. Ingraham and family de
parted for home, wishing the rest a
happy New Year.
Mrs. llalnbrldge went on the 11:10
the next day to Springfield.
' Dr. George, of Creswell, is very
sick with the measles at tihls writing.
