18.—Following
aeveral conferences between the re­
ceivers and directors of ths Westing­
house concern, George Westinghouse
stated today that everything is in
splendid shape and the report of the
secelvers satisfactory.
Everything,
be said, connected with the affairs
of the corporation shaw a most hope­
ful situation.
From another source the report
that may be said to be authoritative
comes that plans have been practi­
cally completed by which the Wes­
tinghouse concern will be put in such
shape that the receivers will be dis­
charged within ten days.

day agreed to postpone the annual
meeting, which was to have
been
held today, until Thursday.

ment. would be taken, that when the
annual meeting reconvened he con­
sidered It advisable that some agree-

vania Railroad company, which oper­
