timates of 300,000 owt. as .England's
yield is reiterated. Only the best
grade bops are being harvested,
growers instructing pickers to dis
card poor quality. The market there
li unchanged. In Germany the out
pat is turning out somewhat heavier
than expected. At the same time the
market bas advanced Bligbtly, there
having been two advanoes since har
vest began, Germans are being free
ly offered in both markets and are also
offered in America.
FKUIT TKADE LIGHT.
Owing principally to lack of sup
plies there was light trade with Front
street fruit merchants this morning.
Appes, piars and plums were ' in fair
npply, but peachos and grapes fell
off, and prices generrally were a little
tar. Three ours of bananas were
unloaded, mostly in fairly good con
dition. Cantaloupes are not the glut
ley were last week, and prices re
sumed normal quotations for the sea

melons were m good supply and quot

Sweet potatoes are a fraotion lower,
