Norman Williams was hanged here at
6:03 this morning. He went to tbe

talk and was pronennced dead 15mln
utes after the trap was sprung.
Wiillama made the following state
ment in writing:
"In the name of Jetus Christ I for
give all my enemies. As 1 will stand
before God on tbe great judgment day
I so now declare before all men tbat 1
am lonucent of any and all charges
brought to bear against me for tbe al
leged marder of Alma Nesblt and her
mother. I declare -that this is the
only statement X ever made or will
make, either In court, out of oourt or

now lying in this harbor, exploded at
10:30 this morning. The entire ship
was blowu up, so that she is seen to
be listing heavily. First reports are
tbat alxty men are killed and over
100 Injured. Dozens of dead and
wonnded are now being brought
ashore.

11 o'olook that every man on deck
was Injured by the explosion. Be
