37,1902, of consumption, oontrsoted a

She waa born In Lane oounty on
November 16, 1878, aud was married
Jun 3, 1800. Her husband took her
east of the mountains lu tbe fall of
1903 and stayed nearly a year, In bopee
of her recovery; but tbe cbange of
olimate did but little good.
Hhe became a Christian about ten
yeare ago and lived a consistent Chris
tian, being a member of the Chrlatlac
church at Pleasant Hill till her desth

leaves a ten-monthi-old daughter and
a large number or relatives an friends
The funeral took place from tbe
oburcb at Pleasant Hill on January
