BIG DAMAGE VERDICT.

Boston, Dec 21. The suit of the Bell Telophone Com
pany against the Western Uunion Telegraph Company for
royalty for infringements of the Bell Telephone plant, was
decided today.
The Bell company was awarded $12,000,000 damages
and royalty. The case enlisted the best legal talent of the
country and was closely contested on every point.

shipped from Eugene to Han Francisco,

the various departments by the teach
