CONTRIBUTING CAUSE.
Sixty millions of people in In
dia are starving to death notwith
standing the faot that there is no
soaroity of wheat, corn, beef and
pork in the world, and the facilities
for transportation are ample. Silver
has been the money of India from
time immemorial, and it has been
the custom ot the people to pat
their hoardings into trinkets whioh
would be taken to the mints and
reconverted into coin when the
oocasion required it. The demone
tization of silver by a foreign ruler
to appease the greed of the British
officeholders and soldiers stationed
in India is the cause of muoh of the
suffering.
The blood of the millions who
are dying in India is upon the
heads of Great Britain's ruling
capitalists who (ought to plunder
the world by maklr g money scarce
and drar. They plundered the
people of India of one-ball their
ability to buy bread, and thus in
tensified to that extent the horrors
of tbo famine.
