The supreme oourt of Oregon hot
virtually deoidod that "load"
checks given by wheat warehouse
men entitle the holders to the
same rights as II the final receipt
had been girsn. That is that parole
evidence was competent to show
that wheat for wbloh load checks
were issued was received under the
same oontraot and with the same
understanding as wheat for which
receipts were issued.
It seems to be an emtneUly
sound deoieion. Otherwise the
farmer who bad all his wheat in
the warehouse, excepting the last
load, might lose his prorata ol
wheat in case of fire, or other inoi
dent oalling for a distribution of
wheat on band.

county knows the man and will
