of the first frame dwellings erected hi

to was built in 1854 for Daniel
Locke, one of our pioneer mer

cost a nice sum of money and
was patented. It is being razed to the
ground to prepare the Way for Dr. D,
A. Palne's new residence, which will
be a handsome oue. Thus one by one
of the pioneer relics must give away to
the new age.
