Tbe Noonday Fay op.
(Jottage Grove Leader, Jan, 12,
Supt. D. B. Murray, of tbe Noonday
Mining company, has been in Cottage
Grove two or three days this week and
baa distributed about (5,000 cash for
supplier and tbe payment of its em
ployes. Ibe Noonday Company is
among tbe foremost faotors in the pros
perity of Cottage Grove, and has bten
for the past two or three years. It
would be well for .Cottage Grove and
Bohemia were there a dozen more
strong companies like It engaged in tbe
developmtnt of the many promising
mines In that district.
It Is safe to say tbo Noonday has
spent more money, in proportion to its
returns, than any raining company
now operating In Bohemia, aud it
will be a red letter day lor Cottage
Grove, and the camp, when lis devel
opment has reached tbe stage when its
flue 20-starap mill, will be justified in
running day and nigbtthe year round.
