demaud than usual for clothing, and
much more can be used than has been
located, while there is a scarcity of
fruit, beau, potatoes aurl other lood
articles.
The schools adjourned this afternoon
for the holiday, and each room of the
Central and Geary buildings appro
priate special exercises were held. A
number of guests were present in
various rooms and I lie programs were
creditably given.

pany, was caught in the fly wheel of
the engine and instantly killed todsy.
His head was mashed to a Jelly and
every bone broken. Noab, wholsanun
